The Auditorium-Orchestre de Lyon is known for a program combining artistic excellence and modernity, while pursuing an ambitious policy of openness. All these issues have led the ONL to reflect on digital tools in order to develop new ways of approaching music and extending the musical experience.

At Vialma, we have a common vision: the new digital tools, far from competing with musical tradition, make it possible to increase and complete the show experience and to deepen the link between the audience and the theater well beyond the stage. Today, a large part of cultural consumption is enabled by digital technology and in particular by streaming. Vialma has therefore decided to make its online streaming solution available to cultural institutions wishing to modernize and renew their audience.

Solution

With the Auditorium Orchestre de Lyon, Vialma has built custom track players in the colors of the institution. These are fully customizable in terms of content and appearance, and very easily integrated into any website. The Auditorium Orchestre de Lyon has inserted these custom players on the concert pages. Each player offers a playlist Excerpts from the program of the concert in order to facilitate and encourage bookings.

Vialma's technical solution has been specially designed for cultural institutions wishing to make their content available to their audience. Vialma also managed the rights related to the recordings, working with the labels directly.

In 2023, Vialma also set up a Webplayer with the Auditorium-Orchestre de Lyon with action buttons to present the year's season in music and allow visitors to book a ticket during the listening session.
