Did you know that only 20% of the paintings and the Orsay Museum are visible to the public? However, in order to successfully carry out their mission of conservation, scientific research and cultural dissemination, museums, and in particular the Orsay Museum, must conduct active acquisition policies.

Sponsorship represents a valuable resource for these policies and can finance specific acquisition campaigns. However, works are not always found in public exhibition spaces, making it more difficult to highlight the generosity of sponsors.

The Société des Amis du Musées d'Orsay et de l'Orangerie brings together more than 800 sponsors who participate in the maintenance, expansion and sharing of collections. To continue transmitting and sharing this passion, SAMO organizes 90 events every year. Thanking and strengthening its special relationship with its sponsors is at the center of the mission that the association has given itself.

Vialma has partnered with SAMO to offer a digital experience as a new counterpart to sponsorship. This white label streaming platform, personalized in the colors of the association, allows sponsors to access exclusive collections all year round.

We offer a multimedia platform Premium accessible to SAMO sponsors. It presents the new acquisitions of the sponsors with their technical descriptions, dedicated playlists and videos. By making the link between music and painting, our platform enriches the experience by placing the works in their cultural context.

Launched during the Gala evening organized by SAMO, this platform was a resounding success by allowing:

  • Valuing the act of philanthropy : highlighting the contributions of sponsors creates an emotional connection between donors and the works acquired.
  • Expanding the cultural experience thanks to the association between music and works of art, thus transforming passive contemplation into total cultural immersion.
  • Expanding reach and accessibility : the platform goes beyond the physical borders of the museum to reach an audience far from Paris, allowing them to participate in the cultural life of the museum.
